Vuestro Adversario El Diablo: A Pentecostal Guide to Spiritual Warfare (PDF) Do you know who your enemy is? Do you know how to resist him? Do you know how to overcome him? Vuestroadversarioeldiablopentecostpdf Download File: https://www.google.com/url?q=https%3A%2F%2Furllio.com%2F2tNw1A&sa=D&sntz=1&usg=AOvVaw33AiVa-LenjmPrZd4EREtc The Bible tells us that we have an adversary, the devil, who is like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour (1 Peter 5:8). He is not a myth, a legend, or a symbol of evil. He is a real, personal, and powerful being who opposes God and His people. As Christians, we are engaged in a spiritual battle against the devil and his demons. We cannot ignore this reality, nor can we afford to be ignorant of his schemes and strategies. We need to be sober, vigilant, and equipped with the whole armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18). That is why we have prepared this PDF book for you: Vuestro Adversario El Diablo: A Pentecostal Guide to Spiritual Warfare. In this book, you will learn: Who is the devil and where did he come from? What are his names, titles, and characteristics? What are his goals, methods, and tactics? How can we recognize his attacks and deceptions? How can we resist him and overcome him by faith? How can we live victoriously in Christ? This book is based on the Pentecostal perspective, which emphasizes the power and presence of the Holy Spirit in our lives. We believe that the Holy Spirit gives us the gifts, fruits, and anointing to fight the good fight of faith (1 Timothy 6:12). We also believe that the Holy Spirit empowers us to preach the gospel, heal the sick, cast out demons, and perform signs and wonders in Jesus' name (Mark 16:15-20). If you want to learn more about your adversary the devil and how to defeat him by the power of God, download this PDF book now and start reading. You will be blessed and strengthened in your spiritual walk. Who is the devil and where did he come from? The devil, also known as Satan, Lucifer, or the serpent, is a fallen angel who rebelled against God and was cast out of heaven (Isaiah 14:12-15; Ezekiel 28:12-19; Revelation 12:7-9). He was originally created by God as a beautiful and powerful cherub, but he became proud and corrupted by his own beauty and wisdom. He wanted to be like God and to receive worship from other angels and creatures. He led a third of the angels in his rebellion, but they were defeated by God and His loyal angels. They were thrown down to the earth, where they became the enemies of God and His people. What are his names, titles, and characteristics? The devil has many names and titles in the Bible, which reveal his nature and activity. Some of them are: Satan, which means \"adversary\" or \"accuser\" (Job 1:6; Zechariah 3:1; Revelation 12:10). Lucifer, which means \"light-bearer\" or \"morning star\" (Isaiah 14:12). The serpent, which refers to his cunning and deception (Genesis 3:1; Revelation 12:9). The dragon, which refers to his fierceness and power (Revelation 12:3; 20:2). The prince of this world, which refers to his dominion and influence over the world system (John 12:31; 14:30; 16:11). The god of this age, which refers to his blinding and deceiving the minds of unbelievers (2 Corinthians 4:4). The ruler of the power of the air, which refers to his control and operation in the spiritual realm (Ephesians 2:2). The tempter, which refers to his enticing and seducing people to sin (Matthew 4:3; 1 Thessalonians 3:5). The enemy, which refers to his hostility and opposition to God and His people (Matthew 13:39; Luke 10:19). The wicked one, which refers to his evil and malicious character (Matthew 13:19; 1 John 5:18). Some of his characteristics are: He is a liar and the father of lies (John 8:44). He is a murderer and a destroyer (John 10:10; Revelation 9:11). He is a thief and a robber (John 10:10; Revelation 12:4). He is a slanderer and an accuser (Revelation 12:10; Job 1:9-11; Zechariah 3:1-2). He is a deceiver and a counterfeit (Revelation 12:9; 13:14; 2 Corinthians 11:14-15). He is a schemer and a strategist (Ephesians 6:11; 2 Corinthians 2:11). He persecutes us with trials and tribulations (Job 1:6-22; 2:1-10; Revelation 2:10; 12:17). He oppresses us with sickness and infirmity (Luke 13:10-17; Acts 10:38; 2 Corinthians 12:7). He attacks us with fiery darts and flaming arrows (Ephesians 6:16; Psalm 91:5; Psalm 7:13). He infiltrates us with false teachers and false brethren (2 Corinthians 11:13-15; Galatians 2:4; Jude 4). He imitates God with signs and wonders (Exodus 7:8-13; 2 Thessalonians 2:9-10; Revelation 13:11-18). How can we recognize his attacks and deceptions? The devil is very subtle and cunning in his attacks and deceptions. He often disguises himself as an angel of light, a messenger of truth, or a friend of God. He mixes truth with error, good with evil, and light with darkness. He appeals to our flesh, our mind, and our emotions. He twists the Scriptures, distorts the facts, and manipulates the circumstances. He exploits our weaknesses, wounds, and fears. He takes advantage of our ignorance, pride, and curiosity. How can we discern his schemes and strategies? How can we expose his lies and tricks? How can we avoid his traps and snares? The Bible gives us some guidelines: We need to know the Word of God and study it diligently (Psalm 119:105; 2 Timothy 2:15; Acts 17:11). We need to test the spirits and examine everything carefully (1 John 4:1; 1 Thessalonians 5:21; Acts 17:11). We need to walk in the Spirit and be led by Him (Galatians 5:16-18; Romans 8:14; John 16:13). We need to put on the whole armor of God and stand firm in faith (Ephesians 6:10-18; James 4:7; 1 Peter 5:9). We need to resist the devil and submit to God (James 4:7; Ephesians 4:27; Colossians 2:15). How can we resist him and overcome him by faith? The devil is a powerful and formidable enemy, but he is not invincible or unstoppable. He is a defeated and doomed foe, who has been judged and condemned by God. He is a limited and finite creature, who is subject to God's sovereignty and authority. He is a roaring lion, but he is not the Lion of Judah. He is a dragon, but he is not the Almighty God. We have been given the victory over the devil through our Lord Jesus Christ, who died for our sins and rose from the dead. He has disarmed the devil and his demons, and has triumphed over them by the cross (Colossians 2:13-15). He has destroyed the works of the devil and has delivered us from his power (1 John 3:8; Colossians 1:13). He has given us His name and His blood, which are our weapons against the devil (Philippians 2:9-11; Revelation 12:11). We can resist him and overcome him by faith in God and His Word. We can claim the promises of God and apply them to our situation. We can plead the blood of Jesus and invoke His name. We can pray in the Spirit and sing praises to God. We can confess our sins and repent of them. We can forgive others and seek reconciliation. We can humble ourselves and seek God's grace. We can love God and love one another. How can we live victoriously in Christ? The devil may be our adversary, but he is not our master. We belong to Christ, who has set us free from the bondage of sin and death. We are children of God, who has adopted us into His family. We are citizens of heaven, who have a heavenly inheritance. We are soldiers of Christ, who have a heavenly calling. We can live victoriously in Christ by abiding in Him and His love. We can abide in Him by obeying His commands and following His example. We can abide in His love by loving Him with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength, and by loving our neighbor as ourselves. We can bear fruit for His glory and edify His body. We can grow in grace and knowledge of Him. We can serve Him with joy and gratitude. We can also live victoriously in Christ by looking forward to His return and His reward. We can look forward to His return by watching and waiting for Him with eagerness and readiness. We can look forward to His reward by being faithful and diligent in our stewardship. We can store up treasures in heaven and not on earth. We can seek first His kingdom and His righteousness. Why do we need this PDF book? We need this PDF book because we live in a world that is under the influence and control of the devil. He is the god of this age, the prince of this world, and the ruler of the power of the air. He has blinded the minds of unbelievers and deceived the hearts of many. He has corrupted the culture and society with his lies and evil. He has infiltrated the church and religion with his false teachers and false brethren. He has waged war against God and His people with his persecution and oppression.
